The date is set, not much else. Vendor applications will be sent in February. Field trips will happen but remain TBD.

50th Annual Upper Peninsula Gem and Mineral Show
August 1st 2026; 9:00am – 3:30pm EDT

Field trips Friday and Sunday!
This is IRMC's capstone annual event including dealers with all sorts of local and exotic gems, jewelry, fossils, displays and more. Aside from these we offer a silent auction, a kids table, and more including an after-show Crackerbarrel as well as field trips before and after the show!
This is a big event with people who come from across Michigan and other states. We don’t expect a covid concern or any other issue, but the organizers cannot account for every possibility or accidents that may occur. Stay safe, healthy, and aware.

- 7pm the same day at Elks, in-building
- Meet fellow rock hounds, Ishpeming club members and experts/industry veterans
- A presentation (speaker TBD)
Field Trips
There are two field trips, set the day before and the day after the show. They are at different times and places so please refer to our events page. If there is any uncertainty, please reach out to the club for clarification. Please review the field trip rules! Requirements include long pants, closed-toe shoes, safety glasses, and other practices we have to remain safe. Listen to the helpers - we want to keep things smooth for everyone.

Please keep in mind that first dibs go to previous vendors - new applicants will be on a waiting list depending on who messages first and which previous vendors complete applications in time.
